By meeting people where they are, RTC is fostering informed conversations and building a shared understanding of why investing in transit is critical to Southern Nevada’s future.
That’s why RTC is engaging with community organizations, businesses, neighborhood groups, and stakeholders across the Las Vegas Valley to raise awareness about the growing need for dedicated, sustainable transit funding.
In July and August, we made nearly 20 presentations and attended more than 30 community events.
These presentations and community events provide an opportunity to explain how public transportation supports jobs, education, healthcare, and the region’s economy while outlining the financial challenges facing the transit system.
